Sports Prosthetics

Living with limb-loss should not hold you back from participating in sports. Thankfully, there are upper- and lower-limb prosthetics available for just about every sport and activity you can imagine. In some cases, sports prosthetics are single purpose, like the “Volleyball Hand.” In others, they are extremely versatile, like running feet, which are able to accommodate just about any cardio or non-cardio activity. Whether you are a weekend warrior, a professional athlete, or slowly beginning to integrate athletics back into your life, we’ve got you covered.

Sport Knees

Sports knees are available for many sports and activities like skiing, running, and swimming. They are constructed to withstand the heavy wear-and-tear associated with high-impact sports as well exposure to the elements like sweat, snow, and rain.  The various features of sports knees are determined by what sport they are designed for. Running knees, for example, allow for fast changes in speed and give patients ultimate control over the smoothness and length of their strides. Skiing and water-sport knees on the other hand are designed to accommodate dynamic movements like deep bends and cutting. To learn more about prosthetic knees click the link below.
