Norina A. McKay
Norina comes to NEOPS with 14 years of both technical and clinical experience. She
started her orthotic career in 1994 as a technician and quickly advanced
to clinical assistant. Her skills include, providing patient medical
care by following written orders by Physicians for orthotic and prosthetic
device applications.
She is proficient in the understanding and implementation of biomechanical
principles, observational gait analysis, anatomy, and fabrication techniques. In
2000 she received her A.S. Degree from Naugatuck Valley Community Technical
College, and became a BOC certified orthotist. In 2004 she became an ABC
Certified Orthotist.
Norina was diagnosed in 2001 with Multiple Sclerosis. Because of her background
in orthotics, she is able to provide excellent patient care in assessing
patient needs. She is always exploring new technologies to help her
patients as well as herself.
