David
Mahler, CP graduated cum
laude from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science
in Exercise Science. He subsequently earned his graduate certificates
in Prosthetics (1999) and Orthotics (2000) from the Newington Certificate
Program, in conjunction with the University of Connecticut School
of Allied
Health.
As an undergraduate, David spent two years working as a licensed
sports massage therapist for a nationally recognized mountain bike
team. His current interest in sports related prosthetics and orthotics
developed from this experience. He continues to study and work to
create devices that allow patients to lead an active lifestyle.
It is David's personal philosophy that a genuine concern for individual
needs and a positive outlook creates an excellent partnership with
his patients.
