Dave LeGates has been a part of the Greater New Haven healthcare community since 1989. Dave was a surgical technician with St. Raphael's Hospital before becoming an apprentice orthotist in 1994. He became a Board for Orthotist Certification Orthotist in 1996 and then affiliated with the American Board of Orthotist Certification in 2004.

Dave has lectured at Yale University School of Medicine in orthotics to resident interns, physical therapists and incoming orthopedic and neurosurgery nursing employees. He has also taught Specialized Footwear Fitting to new employees of Liberty Medical in Port St. Lucie, FL Although he has had a tremendous amount of spinal orthotic experience, Dave prides himself on his foot and ankle care. Dave's patient's success is very important to him. “The patient is the center of our practice.”
