Marshall has practiced orthotics and prosthetics
since 1985. Prior to becoming ABC Certified, he
was a licensed pharmacist and practiced pharmacy
following graduation from St. John's University.
He developed an interest in prosthetics and orthotics
after he attended a course in orthotic evaluation
and fitting. In 1987, he founded J&M Orthotics
and Prosthetics with offices in Smithtown, Port
Jefferson and Astoria, New York.
Marshall has extensive experience with practice management
and patient care. His areas of special interest include: diabetic and podiatric
disorders, pediatric and adult neurological disorders, scoliosis, sports
orthoses and lower extremity prosthetics. He has been certified in various
scoliosis
bracing systems since 1987 including Boston, Charleston and Providence orthoses.
He assisted in establishing the first diabetic wound care center on Long
Island, New York. Marshall is currently Assistant Clinical Instructor at SUNY
at Stony
Brook and Clinical Staff Orthotist at North Shore University Hospital.
Marshall has two children and loves coaching and playing baseball
and basketball. He will manage our growth and expansion on Long
Island and Queens, New York. We welcome his unique entrepreneurial
and professional skills to our organization.
