Special Needs Patient Rooms

   We have equipped our facilities with architecturally designed rooms for special needs, to provide our patients with a comfortable environment.

Hospitality Suite
    Our suites are set up for the comfort of the patient who is scheduled for an appointment of an hour or more. They feature a comfortable sofa, TV, DVD, refreshments and other amenities so that the patient can relax during their time at our facility. Some of our facilities have computers in the hospitality room with internet access for patient use. Educational videos and literature on orthodic and prosthetic services are also available.

Pediatric Patient Rooms
    At times, providing orthotic and prosthetic services to children can be a difficult experience for the patient and parent alike. Our colorful pediatric patient rooms are equipped with children's furniture, toys, games, TV, DVD and children's videos to help aid in the comfort of little ones and make the experience as family friendly as possible. For children having a cast removed, we have invested in specially designed low noise cast cutters. We also fabricate pediatric orthotics in many different colors and designs, decorated with decals, colorful velcro and or ribbons.

Mastectomy Fitting Rooms
    Mastectomy patients are evaluated and treated by certified female fitters who have attained their “Certificate in Mastectomy Fittings”. The mastectomy fitting rooms are specially designed with the utmost of privacy and comfort in mind.

Gait Analysis Rooms
    These rooms are equipped with special walking platforms and parallel bars. In addition, we have equipped some of these rooms with video cameras, which enable the practitioner to record the patient’s gait and to view the results with the patient in order to help achieve the optimum gait.
